Has anyone used this site for booking hotels? They seem fairly new but impressive.

Never even heard of it and just looked; spot-checking Paris for mid-January shows:
Hotel Liberty (picked for low price/high rating -- no personal knowledge) teaser rate is without vat, when you go to details page the 37 euro rate jumps to 43 and then to 66 with private bath. Budget hotel chains in the area give private bath for 44 euros.
Seems of limited use in that it only has things in two cities in France, six in Italy, etc.
