Hi, I'm going to have to leave my apartment for two weeks over the chirstmas holidays (I live in a suburb of Orleans, France,) and am looking for travel ideas. I'm on a very limited budget (and young at 24,) and I will be travelling alone. Places I've been thinking about visiting are Berlin, Prague and Switzerland in general, but since I know I'll have to travel for several weeks, I'm thinking about the possibility of finding inexpensive lodging in a cheaper destination for most of that time--possibly in Eastern or Central/Southern Europe? I'm really open to anything (and I'm hoping to be surprised with new possibilities that haven't occured to me.) I've read about Morocco, and Romania as good choices for a trip like mine. But I could go as far as Turkey, or The Faroe Islands (though maybe not in winter!.) Since I'll be travelling alone, I might not want to stay in one place for more than 4 or 5 days, but then again, I really don't know what I'm looking for, and perhaps I would be very happy sitting still--particularly if the landscape, or local architecture, is beautiful.
