Budapest

Has anyone taken the train recently from Budapest to Split if so I know it’s long but would like to know if
The food on the train is reputable and do they accept euros.

Neither country use the Euro. The food on the trains isn't gourmet but it is edible. You can bring sandwiches and snacks on board. Since this is your second post on this topic, we can assume you are going to make this long trip. Good luck.

Since the two questions were exact four hours apart, she is eager for an answer. Just get some local currency. They might accept Euro but the exchange rate will not be in your favor. If a dinning car is available the food will be good. The sandwich carts are OK but I would pick up a picnic lunch and wine (with a screw cap) for the ride. Probably better and cheaper.
