Hi everyone, I will have a day each in Brussels and Belgium on my way to a business meeting in Amsterdam.
This is what my itinerary looks like:
Nov 6 (Fri) - land in Brussels at 8:00 AM, sight see around Brussels... what is a must see here?
Nov 7 (Sat) - day trip to Brugge, take earliest train. Thinking about doing a river cruise since I figure I can get a decent tour this way. Figure I have time to see one or two other things. My IL's were there last month and told me I must have breakfast at Prestive and lunch at Bistro den Huzaar
Nov 8 (Sun) - early train to Amsterdam, sight see.. then meetings start on Monday and go till Thu. Have Friday again, full day, in AMS. What should I see in these two days?
Have seen recommendations for the hotel The Welcome in Brussels. Seems to have competitive prices. So does the Hilton, but I prefer to stay away from American chains in Europe and stay a locally owned places. Would love to hear any feedback on The Welcome hotel in Brussels.
Thanks!
