Anyone know if there is an easy-to-get-to ATM at the Brussels airport? Also, my mom and I are (hopefully) arriving half an hour apart from our respective American cities. Anyone know a good meeting place in the Brussels airport? Some airports, I know, you can get to other gates than the one you entered through, but in other airports you have to exit security and you can't get to other gates if you don't have a ticket for a flight through them, so I don't want to plan to meet her at her gate without knowing if I can even get to it.

There are definitely ATMs. I'd check the airport map, but I think there are ATMs either in the baggage claim area or right after you exit. Are you taking the train from the airport? If so, you might want to just head down to the train station and meet there.

There are ATMs in the arrival hall, which is the large room you walk into after going through immigration and picking up your luggage. This would also be the best place to meet your mother, and in fact, it's where most people wait when they have to pick someone up from a flight.
