Looking to fly to Copenhagen this summer found a flight using points on Brussels Airlines. It has a much lower fee that other airlines. I have read bad reviews about them and wonder if anyone has used them. Deciding if it’s worth paying more for Air Canada or another airline

We used them for a flight from Brussels to Venice and had no issues at all, but of course that was a much shorter haul.
I've never seen an airline that doesn't have some bad reviews (except maybe the 5 star airlines). I'm probably in the minority but I don't even bother reading airline reviews since cost and convenience trump everything else for me.
From the comments on seatguru, I would want the biz class seats for sure.
We flew them last fall from Prague to Brussels. It was fine, nothing special. No frills, but not quite Spirit Airlines. Think of them as a low cost carrier and you should be OK.
We flew them, also a short flight, but was very happy. To me, any European airline is better than US airlines.
