Any advice on how to get my British Air flight connected to my VeriFly? British Air says you can download it and put in the flight. But I have been given the pass from VeriFly and British Air still says it cannot verify my health papers. Anyone else figure this out?
Im not sure there is a way to "download it and put it in the flight". We entered everything required into Verifly for our outbound and return BA flights back in October this year.
On the outbound flight originating in Canada, the BA check-in agents wanted only to see paper copies. On the return flight starting at Heathrow the agents asked to view it in Verifly so I showed it to them across the check-in desk on my phone. Unless things have recently changed, there is no digital connection between Verifly and your BA booking.
@Peter, the email they sent said to upload your paperwork into VeriFly and then you can check in online.
I just entered the airline, airports, and date. The flight number auto populated since there’s only one flight a day. I then uploaded the required information using either the camera or a saved image. Unfortunately due to covid we’ve postponed our trip a couple months so I never got to within 48 hours of the flight. Wish you luck.
I just spent a few minutes researching this issue on the businesstraveller.com website. Being unable to check in online after completing everything required in the Verifly app seems to be a common problem. Maybe just keep trying but be prepared with paper copies at the check in desk.
That’s our current plan. I’ll try again before bed. We have our taxi set to give us plenty of time to check in in person if we need to. It wouldn’t be frustrating if they didn’t say it should work. Oh well. Such is COVID travel.
How far away is your flight? When I tried to input my details to my trip to Mallorca in October it didn't give me the option until closer to the date. I believe the system operates by flight numbers and adds the flights at a predetermined time.
My flight is tomorrow morning.
Update: we made it through everything at CDG. VeriFly did end up being helpful at check in because she was able to quickly scan through our verified passes so we didn’t have to worry about the e-copies of the French tests that we had (we didn’t have hard copies since we got it from one of the pharmacies).
