Brasov - Rasnov - Bran

I'm planning a trip to Romania and am attempting to plot out a day trip going from Brasov, stopping in Rasnov, and then ending in Bran. Every site and book I find mentions the buses between the three locations, but they never list anything other than the times leaving from Brasov. Does anyone know where the main bus terminals in Rasnov and Bran are, as well as the time tables? I tried Googling them to no avail. Thank you in advance.

Try Rome2Rio.com. Click through the website until you reach a link for the appropriate bus company, because the schedule and fare data shown by Rome2rio itself is all too often wildly off-base. And verify once you reach the area, being especially careful about days of the week and holidays.

I did the same trip by bus and I just went to that bus terminal in Brasov, took the next bus to Rasnov and so on. Buses are fairly frequent. There was no bus terminal in Rasnov and Bran, because these are just villages, the bus stops by the roadside.

To Rasnov you can go by train as well, than continue by bus to Bran.

Here is the train timetable: https://regiocalatori.ro/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/Brasov-Zarnesti.pdf

These trains are operated by private railway Regio Calatori, not by CFR(Romanian State Railways), but they leave from the same station in Brasov, but you may have to buy the ticket from a different ticket office.

Depending on where you are staying in Brasov, consider also to take the train to Rasnov from the small Bartolomeu station - northwest end of Brasov, at the north end of Strada Lunga. Brasov-Zarnesti route. The train is super cheap.

Bus #5 takes you from the old center (NW end of Nicolae Titulescu Parc) to Bartolomeu station, straight down Strada Lunga. (or 1.5-mile walk)

You can also take Bus #16 from the Livada Postei depot (one block north of Piata Sfatului) to Bartolomeu station, but via a less direct route.

And, a taxi from Livada Postei depot in Brasov old city to Rasnov Citadel should be less than $10 - it's only about 10 miles. You could spend a little more and ask the taxi driver to take you to Rasnov Citadel via the back route through the beautiful resort area of Poiana Brasov.

Sounds fun. Drum bun!

Thank you all for the fantastic information and suggestions! Right now, since my plan is to visit on a Monday, I'll head to Rasnov via train. As I'll arrive prior to the castle's opening, that should give me time to locate the Bran bound bus stop, I'm assuming it's on the main road. Then I'll catch the bus at noonish and head off to Bran.

Regarding the church, I'll definitely try to squeeze it in. I only have about four days and some change in Brasov, and I already have day trips to Sighișoara and Sinaia planned for that time period.

Thank you all again for all of your advice and suggestions!
