I know this is a really strange question. We have recently watched almost all of the RS DVD set. (Have not seen Greece or Turkey yet).
One of the episodes visited either a church or museum that had the most wonderful blue and white mosaic floors or windows. I cannot remember where this was, and really would like to be reminded. (I am thinking it was Germany or Austria???)
Does this ring a bell for anyone?

Blue tiles are also very popular in Portugal.
In Berlin, there is the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church with the original bombed out building and two modern additions of blue stained glass commonly referred to as the "lipstick and powder puff" because of their shapes. Not blue and white, but just blue and very serene when you are inside.
If you're talking mosaics, the Blue Mosque would have been my first thought as well, but you indicated that you’ve not yet seen the episodes on Turkey. Could it have been St. Mark’s in Venice, the Roman villas in Sicily, or the Byzantine mosaics of Ravenna, Italy? Bavaria's colors are blue and white, so somewhere in Germany might make sense. Maybe the Residenz in Munich?
