Blow drying your hair in Argentina

I have read a lot about blow dryers in Europe, I'm leaving for Argentina but will also be traveling to Spain this summer. Can I use the same blow dryer for each country or should I buy one in each??

Both use 220/240, but there might be a problem. Some plugs in Argentina are two round prongs like the europlug (used iin Spain), but some are of a different pattern like the Australia, NewZealand, and China ones (slanted flats that would converge at thetop if extended and a central round ground). If you buy the appliance in the states, it will probably be dual voltage but require a plug adapter for each place at the cost of a couple of bucks each. If you buy the appliance in either Europe or Argentina, you're going to have to find a plug adapter that goes from one to the other and that can sometimes be a royal pain in the tail if you don't know exactly what you're looking for since both are strange to you. Additionally, due to the two types of plugs in use, you may find that you require an adapter within Argentina. Buy it here and get a full set of plug adapters for ten bucks and you'll be fine.

Your hotels may provide a hair dryer in the room. You can usually find this information on their websites or a quick email will get the answer. I've quit traveling with a hair dryer because it is so rare for one not to be provided--although sometimes you have to look in unlikely places, such as a desk drawer, to find it!
