Hi there: I have five days between my stays in Paris and Amsterdam. I am wondering which would better, Biarritz, Nice or Venice. I have been to Nice and Venice. David G.
Venezia will have the easiest flight connections to Amsterdam. You could go to Biarritz, which you haven't visit. Not much difficult to travel there from Paris, but Biarritz-Amsterdam is either a whole day on train, or a connecting flight.
You'll be bored to tears after a half day in Biarritz.
Why only those 3 choices, especially since you've already been to 2 of them? And, what time of year?
Biarritz has a nice beach. Bayonne is more vibrant but really, unless you happen to be in that part of the land, neither has much to offer. However, the whole of Europe awaits you!
Do you want interesting or leisurely? I like the area between Bayonne, St Jean de Luz, and San Sebastian. From the train in Bayonne (5 hrs to Bayonne by train), it is easy to get to St Jean which is a beautiful, beachy, leisurely town. San Sebastian is on the Atlantic and has a city vibe with beach.
Venice. Instead of flying try a night train sleeper.
