Best websites to search for airfaire?

Hi Everyone, I posted the other day about trying to plan my first trip to Europe this summer. I originally planned on flying into London, since I found a really cheap roundtrip flight to there from Newark, but after more consideration (and a lot of helpful feedback), I think I might wait and save London for another trip. Or I was thinking of possibly still fly into London, but then maybe fly home from Paris, and I was wondering if anyone knew of any good websites to search for open-jaw flights. I appreciate any help I can get, thanks!

All websites handle open jaws; just use the "multiple destination/cites" option. I find that Orbitz.com works slightly better for these types of fares; but it's worth checking all of them.

If London STILL comes up as your cheapest alternative (and that's likely to be the case), you can always check whichbudget.com to see all the discount airlines that fly out of that city's four main airports to other destinations. Maybe take a discount airline flight to your farthest destination (say, Rome, or Madrid) then work your way back to London.

Hi Carly,

We used www.travelocity.com 2 years ago. They were also very helpful with a couple of questions I had via their toll free phone number.

Don't forget about Priceline. Several times I got tickets for about half the published rates anywhere else (and trust me...I spend FOREVER searching for deals! ;-)

Try Kayak.com;Ultimate Fares; Airfare.com. for low airfares. I saw a fare on Airfare.com JUST AFTER I clicked on ticket for Ultimate Fares which was under the Kayak site, for $515.00. Yes, that low for June travel. My ticket cost $750 but which I hadn't been so quick on the finger. Oh well, next time, I'll research more sites.
