Hello, my husband and I are going to London in October. My husband would like to tour Normandy. What is the easiest way to get there from London and we do not want to rent a car? Any suggestions would be greater appreciated!

Tammy

agree with above. The only reasonable option really.
You have the answer. The two destinations do not pair well. Does your husband mean "the D Day beaches", which is not all of Normandy? Those are best seen by rental car, or by pricey specialist tour guide, who provides transportation. You also don't want to go around the anniversary dates.
You might plan a second trip that includes France or Begium, to avoid the transfer annoyances.
It's pretty easy to take Eurostar from London to Gare du Nord Paris and take a cab to Gare St. Lazare for a train to Bayeux. We had an hour and a half to get to Gare St. Lazare from Gare du Nord - we made it with plenty of time to spare, but it was stressful waiting in the taxi queue. If you're in Standard Premier class or higher on Eurostar, you can pre-book your cab (at least that was true in 2010) - I wish we had done that. The trip from London St. Pancras to Bayeux should take about 5 hours.
If your husband is mostly interested in D-Day sites, there's no need to rent a car if you stay in Bayeux. Mini-van tours originating in Bayeux are offered by a number of companies and while not inexpensive, they are a great value for money.
