I own a Scott Travel Vest, I love the versatility, but really find it hot and sweat inducing. Can anyone recommend a good (perhaps cotton) travel vest that is cool to wear in warmer weather? Much obliged! Thanks.

Monty, Have a look at this Vest to see if it might fit your criteria: www.tilley.com/Different-Drummer-Legends-Outback-Vest.aspx?id=20MA45MV0551691 They have several different models but I find this one to be good for use in hot weather. The sizing can be a bit inconsistent so I'd recommend trying it on first to make sure the fit works. I'm not sure where you're located, but there should be a retail partner in your area that carries their products. Good luck!

Monty, Tag Safari Clothing has several vests. I have one. They are made in Zimbabwe of hand picked, woven, and sewn there cotton. www.tagsafari.com. They are made for warm weather and have a light cotton lining.

Thanks to you both for responding. I have contacted both companies for info. Also been in touch with Scottevest to get more information about the vests I have and their new travel vest. Will let you know if I come up with any helpful info.
