My husband & I are going to France for two weeks very soon (leaving 12/14). We thought it would be nice to stay in the Champagne region for 12/24 & 12/25. Does anyone have experience staying in the area during this time? Although I can find places to stay, I am having a tough time finding a "special place", that offers a package with excellent meals for Christmas eve and Christmas day. We don't want to be stuck in a hotel/area with nothing happening or no services on what can/should be a very festive day! As we have a car, we are also open to suggestions for other areas to stay in France for Christmas. Our schedule is very flexible. Any feedback would be appreciated
