Mike, We spent three AWESOME nights at Nuit Blanche Bed and Breakfast while in Brugge in Sept. 2010. It was worth every single penny and more!!! The B&B is so beautiful and right on the lover's bridge on the canal. The view from our room looked out on the Church of Our Lady and the canal. The breakfast was served in courses and was fabulous! The owner and host, David, was so wonderful, he told us all the places to visit, where to go for drinks, dinner, etc... We were able to walk everywhere from this locations as an added bonus. We have very high standards and expectations and this place surpassed every one!!! You would not be disappointed here! Happy Travels to you!

Mike, You might have a look at Hotel Adornes. I stayed there last year and it was fantastic! They offer free Bikes, so you could take the short ride to Damme (about 30-minutes) and have a Triple or two in one of the Pubs there before riding back. Happy travels!

We have been to Bruges 2 times and both times we stayed at Absoluut Verhulst. Benno and Frieda are the most kind people you have ever met. He makes the best scrambled eggs. The rooms are extremely cute, with nice d bathrooms. The house is 400 years old, and very visible from the Bruges Tower; its the only bright red house in Bruges. If I go back, which some day I will, i love bruges so much, I would stay there again. http://www.b-bverhulst.com
