Best areas to stay in London

hi guys,
I will be in London for approx 4 days and would like to see the London Eye, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben etc.

I am overwhelmed with the amount of hotel is on offer and would like to stay in a good location close to most of these tourist sites in a mid range price.

Any recommendations?

I like staying in the South Kensington area, Chelsea and Bayswater area. The London Elizabeth Hotel in Bayswater is great, a 2 minute walk to Lancaster Gate tube station.

Best is always a relative term. We like staying in the Victoria Station. Prices are little more reasonable and on top of the Tube. Easy walk to a lot of places - Palace, Big Ben, etc.

Check out the Premier Inn County Hall -- in the building adjacent to the London Eye.
