Bensimon - Elastic shoes

hi there, I was wondering if anyone is aware of Benisimon tennis elastique flat sneakers. I can not find a store that sales one in Atlanta,GA area ; but, i found plenty online. They look too confortable (too me). Before I order one, can someone who tried it give me their input regarding this shoes? Thank you in advance for your replies once again :)

My sister bought some in Paris and LOVES hers. That's all she wears when she travels. I wasn't sold on the look of them until I saw all the local french girls in St. Barts wearing them with skinny jeans and shorts, especially the ones without the laces. It looked really cute and they were wearing them waiting tables so they must be comfortable. I saw them all over southern France and Paris with leggings. I read on a fashion blog that Aldo is going to be carrying them so I'm going to check them out next time I'm at Lenox. My sister said they run true to size so if you feel comfortable not trying them on, then I'd give it a shot. Personally, I'd use it as an excuse to go to France :)

They don't have any arch support at all. To some people that can be a deal-breaker depending on the foot when taking into account how much walking you will be doing in Europe, and the fact that a lot of the walking done in Europe is on uneven cobblestoned streets and sidewalks. I'd be more inclined to wear the Bensimon's at home and get something from Keen or Merrell to do lots of walking. Some of the Keen sneakers look similar to Bensimon, but the Keen has arch support. You can probably find a shoe store in Atlanta that sells Keen or Merrell and try some on, but there are plenty of online retailers that sell the Bensimon sneakers and offer free shipping & free returns if you get the wrong size or just don't like the way they feel on your foot.
