I'm going to Ireland and have BOA cards. Are Barclay's located in Ireland?
Audrey, that's good scoop. According to BofA, it's home country only. The Deustchebank reciprocal is supposed to be Germany only. Your report shows that the reciprocal arrangement does extend to adjoining countries. I'm taking note. Thanks.
Yes, its an international company.

However, the no-ATM fee deal that B of A has with international banks only works in the bank's home country. If you're in the Republic of Ireland, you may be charged an ATM fee. I know Barclay's elsewhere in the world don't give you the fee break. Maybe e-mail them.
I agree with Norm. Same thing with Deutshebank in Germany. The reciprocal relationship is home country only. BofA has this information on their website.
Thanks for the info. B of A did not charge me fees when I was in Austria or Switzerland for ATM withdrawals through Deutschebank. I'll check out Barclays and BOA.
Larry, I was happy about the no ATM especially in Switzerland where I was getting Swiss francs and not Euros. When I was in Scotland I didn't use an ATM because I didn't want Scottish money as some small busniesses in Englad did not want to take the Scottish notes. Now if there would BoA would just eliminate the conversion fees!
