Anyone have a recommendation for a private guide (2 couples) half or full day in Barcelona and Lisbon. Looking for some orientation and local secrets.

just used Miriam from Pepito Tours in Barcelona - she was awesome. I did an all food and tapas tour with her - just the two of us. It was great. She cad add a museum too if you like but i had some of those planned already. If you love food - ask her for a simialr tour she gave "Tom - the tall red-head from California" 2 weeks ago! Jose is the owner, btu has a few staff members who help - like Miriam. A true local who loves to share her city! In Lisbon we had a lady named Christian - one of the best on the RS tour - if her info is not in Ricks book - call their office and inquire... she too was a super guide with lots of info and lots of enthusiasm! have fun!

Ask your Flight Crew. Often your destination is our "home away from home". It can be especially helpful to speak to the "Language Qualified" F/A. Often they originally came from that area or at least speak the language fluently.
You might ask the Reception if they know of anyone staying in the hotel who might show you around. I've known many F/A's to act as tour guide in their spare time. Some even leave their names at reception for that purpose.
