I'm considering going on an escorted trip 2026 to the Baltics. What time of year would be best? Looking for jeans and a t-shirt weather with a cardigan at night. I would also be interested in feedback from anyone who has flown Finnair with a carry on.

Flying Finnair with a carry on is very easy - you go to Finnair website, find section on carry-on baggage and follow the rules to the letter.

I was in the Baltics last May. Some days I could go without a jacket but most nights I needed more than a Cardigan.
For the weather you want, think June, July, August and perhaps early September. But each area will fluctuate.
Finnair is a good airline but you have to follow the rules. I also like the Helsinki airport. It's fairly efficient.
