Auto Europe refunds

All of our car rentals in Europe have been through Auto Europe or Kemwel since 2011. We had two rentals for this summer, one for Croatia in June, and one for the UK in August. Looks like you can no longer cancel via their website unless you accept a voucher with +10% added.

But had no issues cancelling both reservations via the 800#. (And was in hold for less than 5 minutes). They did suggest a voucher, good for 3 years plus 10%), but once we return to the US this year, have no idea at what point in the future we will return to Europe.

AutoEurope, in the midst of this crisis continues to offer great customer service.

Always nice to see positive reviews. Autoeurope was very good to us just last May, refunding money for what was technically our error/fault (not a virus related issue). Good customer service has made us return customers.

I also had a week’s rental with Auto Europe. I cancelled online on 4/3 and my refund was back on my card 4/7. I have rented with them several times and I will definitely be back to them in the future.

We've had only good experiences with them in the past. And the 110% voucher is consistent with that. But I think they should off the refund as an option on their website. Not everyone will take the initiative to call them and ask.

I've been using AutoEurope for decades. I had a rental in France to start last week, and cancelled on-line in mid-March. I had the refund credited to my CC w/in a few days. I guess it was sometime after that they changed the on-line policy. If I had been offered a voucher with a bonus I might have taken that, since I expect to be using AE again, if not this Fall, then next Spring.
