How easy is it to go from Zell am See to Hallstatt in Septmeber?

Coincidently, Sandy, I am doing that trip in reverse (Hallstatt to Zell) in late August. It will take me 4h15m with a 20 min change of trains in Stainach-Irdning.
You might find slightly better information on the schedules at www.oebb.at (Austrian Rail), although I think the Bahn site is easier to use.
BTW, if you are with someone else and confine your travel to regional trains, you can use the €24 Einfach-Raus ticket, which is an all-day pass for 2-5 people on regional trains. However, the Einfach-Raus ticket cannot be used by a single traveler.

We have visited Hallstatt Austria and are returning in September. Probably nothing can compare to that but I am wondering how close Zell am See may be.
