I keep reading about picking up audio tapes and guides to listen to about sites and cities when I go to Europe this late spring. I'm really interested in these and would love to take advantage but I haven't found anywhere saying what format they come in? Are they tapes or cd's? I'm going to be taking my Ipod with me but should I bring another device so I can use them? Or should I just try out Rick's podcasts and I'm out of luck for anything else?

If you find audio guides on CD you can always rip them to your iPod. Check out your local public library -- many times they have such things that you can borrow. But the podcasts can be good, too. Make sure to listen to them before you go, though, so you can catch references to things you might want to work into your itinerary.
