I would have a connecting flight to Bremen.... CDG is cheaper. Worth it? Or easier in AMS, with which I'm familiar. Thoughts? Thanks!
It depends on how much cheaper and time on the ground.
AMS is a far superior airport for connecting flights, however.

Answer may depend on how much cheaper and the layover times. All things equal I have a preference for AMS. Allow more connect time at CDG. A connect at CDG shorter than 90 minutes is tight. AMS seems more efficient and compact.
Sorry. Should have done a search before posting. Difference is $83, carryon only, and plenty of time at each. CDG 4:30 and AMS 2:50. However, arrival in Bremen is much earlier via AMS. So I'm thinking it's worth the extra $83. Thanks for the replies and the link.
Amsterdam or Chucky D? AMSTERDAM!!! Nothing is worth me ever returning to Chucky D. What a miserable place. I head across two or three time a year and there have been times when I could have saved a few hundred by using Chucky D, but after my first two experiences...nope, not happening again.
On the other hand, Amsterdam is easy to navigate and clean.
LOL! Thx! I kinda figured the answer would be AMS, but thought I'd have it confirmed.
Hi,
If you are not used to either, I'd say Amsterdam. I have not been to CDG since 2007 but have heard that it has been refurbished, improved, etc. I'll see when I land there a month from now, how it has been improved. Yes, CDG has its shortcomings, got used to them basically no problem. Liked it flying directly SFO to Paris as long as no connecting flight was involved, which I avoided.
It's $83 and, and yes, I'm familiar with AMS. The flights and connections via AMS would get me there in the morning, which i prefer, so I could go without the comfort seat on the way home to make up for it. :)
Thank you all for your replies.
Hille,
My vote would also be for AMS. Although it's a large airport, as I recall it's only a single terminal so much easier to navigate (although lots of walking). In contrast, CDG is a larger airport with multiple terminals and it's possible you'll have to change terminals for your ongoing flight to Bremen. I prefer to avoid terminal changes (when possible) in a jet lagged state.
Seems unanimous. There are airports I love and some I refuse to use - I will pay extra not to go through JFK or CDG.
Looks like its a consistent vote for Amsterdam and that's what my vote would be too.
Amsterdam any time. The worst IMHO - DeGaulle and Heathrow. I avoid them like devil cross.
