Can anyone gives us some advice on Arrezo? We have stayed in Cortona but never here. Would you recommend it?

I haven't stayed there, but I've been there--lunch and walking around. Nice little town; famous in music history (home of Guido d'Arezzo who was active in the 11th century) and home of the Guido d'Arezzo International Polyphonic Competition. Life is Beautiful was filmed there. I would happily stay there--but then I'm pretty easy to please and would happily stay most anyplace!

I love Anne's answer! I feel pretty much the same way; if I'm travelling, especially in Europe, I'm happy! However, as pleasant a surprise as Arezzo was - I ended up there by accident - I don't know that I would make it a destination in itself. It's definitely worth seeing, but I think it works better as a one night stop-over or day trip.
