Are you having a Wonderful Thanksgiving?

Just to stay on the good side of the Webmaster and wanting to wish everyone here on the forum a wonderful Thanksgiving, I posted it in the form of a question. It didn't seem like it belonged on the Graffiti Wall either, so here it is on the Helpline. Wishing all of you a great day, eating lots of yummy food, and think of us poor folk over here in Germany struggling to find a can of pumpkin purree. Still thankful though to live here and that I am healthy enough to travel. Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

Thanks Jo. Did you get the snow up in Frankfurt? It was coming down pretty heavily here for awhile, but then it slowed down just as it started to accumulate, then it turned to rain.

No snow here yet, just sprinkles of rain. They keep promising though. We are actually doing our feast on Sat. so all our single friends that don't have families here can join in. Someone has to eat these 2 turkeys I bought!

I'd like to add to Jo's message and wish everyone in the U.S. a happy Thanksgiving (try not to "over indulge" with the Turkey dinners!). After all, a month from today you'll be enjoying another big dinner. Cheers!

Very low key for us. In two weeks we will be in Germany. A lot to get done between now in then. First time in 43 years we will not put up a tree.

I am thankful for all my "travel buddies" on this board, for the webmaster who induldges us in ocassional deviations from the theme like this, and for another year with my family (though we miss Daddy and now Traci, my sister). God bless you all.

Happy Thanksgiving Jo and everyone. Yes, we managed to scrounge up a turkey, pumpkin puree, and even canned cranberry sauce! Wohoo. Today we are hitting the advent markets. The first snowflakes are forecast for this evening. Light snow on Saturday and then maybe heavy snow Sunday night! Time to bust out the Christmas music!

I had an interesting Thanksgiving Day - I spent 24 hours in a line at my local Best Buy. 5 am Thu thru 5am Fri, but I have a new desktop bundle for my son, and I finally own a netbook!! It's 0659 EST now, my Xmas shopping is almost complete and I'm heading off to bed now. G'night all. Hope y'all had a wonderful day.

My family is having a great time in Honolulu Waikiki area. My son flew from Paris for the holidays and enjoying the warm weather/sunshine. No better place to visit in the winter than Hawaii.
