Can anyone confirm if there are still (are aren't) golf-cart tours that meet arriving ships in Riga, Latvia? This is mentioned in Rick Steves' Cruise Ports book of 2013, but I don't see any other mention of it anywhere else on-line. I have limited mobility and this would be a perfect way for me to see the old town this summer (2015.)
I don't find anything online either, for instance through the tourist office. Fall-back plan will probably be a taxi.
Answer found: It turns out that the golf-cart tours have been discontinued. The tourist office told us about a 35 min. electrobus tour (looks like open air trams) that leaves from Dome Square. Information about it is at http://www.rigasturists.lv/uk.html.
Thanks for reporting back.
