planning to be in europe from mid may to mid august. is may too late in the year for skiing?
anyone have any favorite resorts for skiing or biking?

Depending on how much snow falls throughout the winter, you can usually ski on the upper slope of the Zugspitze in Germany until late May or early June. The resorts in the valley (Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Grainau) are also great for hiking and biking.
I haven't actually seen it, but supposedly you can ski on the Matterhorn all year.
