I've recently discovered them & am now thinking of traveling with them instead of T shirts, but I'm wondering how best to pack them. I'm taking a 2-wk trip with moves every few days. I don't want to do the bundle method as I don't want to unwrap everythink each time we move. I plan to pack about 4 blouses & am doing carry-on with a 19" bag. I normally roll, but not sure how that'd work with blouses instead of tees. Advice from someone who's traveled with the non-wrinkle blouses would be appreciated.
I travel with no iron shirts from Coldwater Creek and pack them in a packing cube (RS has them as does Eagle Creek) They fit ideally into my classic RS Outdoor Bag
which I carry on the plane.
Foxcroft blouses --- a wardrobe staple! I just fold them like a shirt display item and put them in a medium size packing cube. I just discovered a new website that sells Foxcroft blouses in the camp shirt style (very difficult to find). Check out Sue Patrick in Austin, TX., I just ordered three of short sleeve ones which I think will be much coler than tee shirts.
I'm glad to know about this now. I live in Austin Texas, and never even heard of this! I hope she has a store I can go too, so I don't have to pay postage!
These sound great!
I am a big fan of the packing envelopes with the velcro flaps for compression. I put the folded items -- shirts, pants -- in the envelopes and the items will remain wrinkle free but will have creases on the folds but generally fall out with a little wearing. When I think of packing cubes it is the little pouches with zipper tops that are good for rolled underwear, t=shirts, misc items, etc. A small or medium envelope will fit in a carryon bag but I prefer the small size.
