We are flying into CDG arriving on the 23rd and then flying to Zurich. Our outbound flight runs us through Heathrow on Dec 29. I wish I would see some positive news about these airports!

Angela, According to news reports, it's not looking good at the moment as more bad weather is forecasted, although a "window" of better weather may occur in a few days. The three airports most affected by the problems appear to be LHR, CDG & FRA (along with many smaller airports). LGW was supposed to re-open this morning, but with "limited service". Hopefully everything works out for your holiday. Good luck!

One of my daughters was supposed to leave her home in Zurich for CDG tonight, but is delayed; one of the problems seems to be a lack of deicer for the planes. The manufacturer can't get the raw materials since the roads are jammed, and can't get finished product out.

We're here and CDG was somewhat of a pain. The Swiss Air flight was a huge ordeal from CDG to Zurich. Six hour delay and only part of that was for weather. Most of it was for a baggage sorting issue and a broken latch on a door.
