We stumbled across some European rail trips that look interesting to us. They are run by an Australian company we had never heard of called Travelmarvel. Unfortunately, I can only find one brief mention of Travelmarvel on the forum. Does anyone have any experience with them? Any info good or bad would be extremely welcome.

I can't speak from any direct experience with them but they advertise on Sydney television channels rather a lot (tours, packages, etc). I don't know anyone who has used them. They seem like a bigger outfit, I can't imagine advertising on TV comes cheaply.

My husband and I booked a river cruise with them, from Amsterdam to Basel which was cancelled around 3 days prior to leaving. This was due to the very low levels of the Rhine. They immediately offered us 2 other cruises, one of which we joined half way through as it was a 15 day one, and ours had been an 8 day one.
From the very beginning, we couldn't fault them, everything was superbly organised even though it must have been at the last minute - we actually went on a different river, only had one night where we had to change ships which was the last one in Amsterdam. We were also offered 50% off another cruise, and we also could have cancelled but we were going on anyway - they paid for our flight after the cruise as we no longer ended up in Basel.
I have nothing but praise for them as they coped with very last minute problems so well.
