We'll be in Europe for 2 weeks and will be returning the first week of October. We're looking into the test we'll need to get back into the US. We're seeing both pcr tests and rapid antigen tests offered at airport testing centers. The rapid antigen test would be more convenient for our travel plans - but we're finding confusing information on whether a rapid antigen test is valid for US entry. Has anyone else used a rapid antigen test to board a flight to the US? Any info or insight is appreciated!

We used the Abbott self-tests, which we brought with us. It's a proctored test using your phone. You do need good wi-Fi. It was fast and easy, and it's an antigen test. It was great because testing centers were closed on Sundays in Switzerland.
We just returned this past Tuesday.
Safe travels!
I returned from Germany Sept 6. I had a rapid antigen test done in Berlin 2 days before departure.
We just flew back from Iceland to the US on IcelandAir and the rapid antigen test we took that morning was just fine.
