Another heartfelt "Thank You" in advance

Well, we leave on Saturday for a week in London and then eight days in Paris. Our son actually went over this morning as he is helping photograph a wedding three hours out from London on Saturday. When he first told us about it, all talked about it becoming a family trip and so here we are, two days away.

This forum has been such an incredible help. I've asked a few questions but read literally hundreds more and I THINK/HOPE/PRAY we've got all bases covered. All tour tickets are purchased, money exchanged, credit and debit cards notified, packing 99.98% completed, cameras charged and discs cleared, hotels confirmed as are train and plane reservations, and around 150 French phrases learned---and probably promptly forgotten from nerves when I get to France.

Anyway, thanks to all of you who took the time to pose questions that I learned from as well as taking the time to respond to the countless seeming silly questions I posted.

Merci beaucoup!!!

And you know, if you find out you don’t have your bases all covered, it is ok. You will figure it out. And then there are things that happen that you couldn’t plan for-this year it was a train strike in England. We managed to get where we needed to go-it just took a little longer.

I guess I am saying is you plan before you go and then you have to try to go with the flow a bit once you actually embark on your trip.

It's notes like yours that keeps us "paying it forward!" As much as I have traveled I never stop learning something new from this Forum. You will be amazed how quickly it all comes together once you arrive. Sounds like you are all set for an amazing journey. Bon Voyage!
