Anniversary trip

Portugal.

Second vote for Portugal!
A week in Amsterdam seems excessive, even though you can day trip to many places.
And Iceland gets darker and colder by mid September.

Flip a 3-sided coin, and choose any of them, unless there are other factors to consider.

Is the intent romance? Do you favor wine, beer, bikes or other adventure? Looking for a comfortable destination, or one more exotic? Or cost - is there a good deal on flights to one, or a lodging special? Particular types of sights of most interest?

We've got a BIG anniversary coming up in 3 weeks, and are heading to Crete (a new place for us - but went elsewhere in Greece last year) at the end of September, but it’s another trip to Europe, not viewed so much as an anniversary trip.

We’ve discussed making our next celebratory trip to Paris, as it’s been over 10 years since we were there last.
