Ancestry researcher in Sicily

Traveling to Sicily in May 2017. Want to visit Termini Immerse (TI) where my paternal and maternal great-grandparents came from to USA.

Have completed research back to 1850s with help from a special database. Want to do more in Sicily and potentially visit the streets in TI where ancestors lived. Also want to visit village of "Geraci" which is my last name.

Any suggestions on ancestry researchers and hopefully tour guide?

Three years ago a friend and I went to the province of Palermo to visit our respective grandparents' birthplaces. We used Rosy Bartolotta. She acted as guide, translator and researcher. Prior to our arrival she had contacted the city halls in our ancestral towns and relatives living in the area. When we arrived at the town halls they were waiting for us and we got copies of official documents. Her husband was our driver and since we were a group of four her price quote included a van for transportation. We spent two days with them. They picked us up directly at our b&b each day in Palermo. They took us to see the towns and addresses of the houses where our grandparents were born back in the 1880s. We also visited the churches where they were baptized and married. We visited relatives with them and they even managed to squeeze in a stop to Segesta and Cefalu. I found her contact info here http://www.bestsicilyguides.com/ros/rosy.htm
