We are traveling with 2 basketball travel teams (20 boys age 16-17) plus 10-12 adults. Do you have any recommendations for large groups traveling to the area that aren't going to Disney?

When are you going? Will you have a bus at your disposal to take you to and from the playing venue to your hotel? Is the tournament at a high school, convention center or arena?

Here's one . . . go to an Angel's game. Or, if you want to see Major League quality baseball, head a little north and go to a Dodger game.

You don't say where you're from and what you would be interested in. There's Universal Studios, the beaches (lots of beaches to choose from depending what you want to do), shopping, hikes,etc. My favorite thing to do with out of town visitors is taking them to the beach. Huntington Beach where I'm from offers surf lessons, bike rentals, kayaking, etc. A great activity for the group is a beach bonfire. However, someone has to be there early in the day to save a fire pit as they're first come first serve. PM me for questions. I live about 20 minutes from the Disneyland area and I would love to help.

Kind of an odd question for the European section of a travel site. Are you coming from Europe or are you a US team? How many rooms do you need? And this is a case where a good travel agent specializing in group travel would be beneficial.
