Hi everyone,
Any First hand experience with Albania, with one week stay in mind what should be the options for a beach holiday besides 3 days at Tirana. one more thing comes to my mind that how come nobody has as yet discussed this topic, despite being a good catcher of reviews at tripadvisor?

Albania is probably a bit off the beaten track for many here, so that could explain the lack of responses so far.
You may want to have a look at the Lonely Planet Thorn Tree Forum, as there are more Backpackers and "adventurous" travellers there who get to less visited locations. If you post a question there, I suspect you'll get quick replies.

My first-hand experience with Albania is that Greek car rental companies won't allow you to drive their car to Albania for less than $1000. FYI, Albania is also not connected to any other country by train. I would look at guidebooks by Lonely Planet (PDF chapter for sale online) and Bradt (next edition due in March).

A simple search using the search bar above will show you most of the previous postings on Albania in this forum. It isn't a very popular tourist destination, at least form most of the people that frequent this forum.
