Airlines in Northern Europe

Question; what are your feelings about the Airlines in Northern Europe? Anyone flown on Air Baltic, Finnair, SAS, or Norwegian Air lately? Seems like many of these airlines rate very low, and just trying to figure out if the reviews I've read are sour grapes or legitimate complaints/issues.

Thanks everyone!

I have flown SAS a lot and would not rate them low. On the contrary, they are a pretty good airline in my opinion.

Norwegian, well they are a low cost cost airline so don't expect much from them. They have been close to bankrupcy a couple of times in the last years, but has managed to survive.

SAS is a great airline, large and reliable as any. Read more here: What is Denmark's main airline?

Finnair is perfectly fine, too.

airBaltic is also perfectly fine. The national airline of Latvia, they're partly owned and well-connected to SAS. I'd fly any of these without any hesitation.

I have no direct experience flying Norwegian.

Good luck finding positive reviews of any airline if you just go looking online.

We flew on SAS five times within Scandinavia and Copenhagen to Spain in August/September 2022. All flights were fine, on time and they didn't lose our checked bags.

We also had one flight on Wideroe in a Dash 8 and it too was fine.
