Thanks for the link. This is good information for everyone trying to manage their scheduled trips.
Keep in mind, in the US, if the airline cancels the flight, you are entitled to a refund even if the tickets you purchased were on a non-refundable fare class.
Delta canceled my round-trip JFK-Zürich itinerary seven days before departure. I contacted Delta and asked for a refund. Delta posted my refund to my AMEX card in 5 business days. I chose the refund because I did not want to be handcuffed to restrictions and expirations of e-credits. Delta refunded my American Express card the next day.
