Trasnsavia is owned by the same financial group that controls KLM and Air France.
awesome thank you, booking!
I found my dad a flight in Transavia a year ago , never heard of airline sonwas nervous tonsugfest it to her ( it was much cheaper than all others ) . Went on forums asked about it , and then she booked it .
Absolutely fine !!
Where are you flying from in France? There may be other choices also.
Lots of competition, Paris-Venice, keeping prices down. Ryanair, EasyJet, Vueling as well as Transavia. Skyscanner.net will show you choices. Watch for which airports are served.
EasyJet has frequent sales to Venice and flies out of Orly airport.
Flew on EasyJet from Stuttgart to Venice, 34 euros return.
As long as you read the fine print and follow the regulations (luggage size/weight, boarding passes) there's no reason to pay more for short flights like these.
