Just saw this , haven't checked it out, so good luck!
I by chance stumbled upon $2,500 business class seats last Tuesday/wed night using Google flights from LAX to BCN/MAD for mid April 2024 (BA, Iberia, Lufthansa). Same flights premium economy was $1,800. I wish I would have booked. Next night the business flights were up to $3,500, which is still less than what they normally run. Im price monitoring, and I’m still hoping I see another dip mid week again. If so I will for sure jump on them.
Galleriegirlie,
Scroll thru this attached thread and find my post regarding my finding low bc fares. I'm sending best wishes to you!

Thanks for sharing this, Pat!
Just snagged a great deal for two weeks in May. The routings on sale are a little funky, but for these prices, I'll happily take a long layover in the biz lounge.
Scudder, mind sharing your deal? So happy you found a great rate. Safe travels!
Sure, Pat.
Short answer: 2,400 round trip from the NorthEast to Madrid on AA. (The low prices were only for the Iberia-operated Eastbound transatlantic legs via JFK or BOS, sold by AA.)
Longer version... I live exactly 1h20m from the small Hartford, CT airport of the even smaller Albany, NY. They're both an easy drive with cheap parking. I also always look at options flying out of JFK, which is a miserable 2h30 minute drive (likely more with traffic) and has expensive parking. There's a public transit option to JFK, but it's a Homerian odyssey. Pricing and routing—layover times and cities— influence a decision that's half logic and half gut. I actually put both on hold today. The prices were the same, but, as I mentioned, it's weird routing from my more local airports—double connections where one is long (fine with me) but the others are maybe too short for comfort. Of the three daily OneWorld flights between JFK and MAD, the best pricing is on the ones whose schedule I like best.
My holds expire tomorrow night, so I'll poke around again before I pull the trigger.
Scudder, I understand airport commute misery,, as we made the sacrifice to fly out out LAX, as San Diego hasn't had any decent business class fares (that I could) find in 18+ months. But when we found $1850 from the West Coast to Amsterdam , British Airways, business class, RT, we figured we could get our butts up to LA.
Best of luck!
1850 from LAX to AMS in Biz! Almost worth me flying west on Spirit for that!
I'm biting the bullet and locking in the JFK option. The only routing from the closer airports that doesn't have a super tight connection has a 6am departure and layovers in cities without good lounges. (6am from Harford would mean an airport hotel for me, so the parking at JFK isn't that much more...)
Scudder, buy your ticket and don't look back. Safe travels!
