AirBnB in Paris

My husband and I will be in Paris for 4 nights and are looking to stay in the 5th or 6th. We would like a place that has a fridge and way to make coffee. It is hard to find an apartment for just 4 nights, so we thought we would try AirBnB. We are not looking to rough it, so would like something a bit nice. Does anyone have suggestions of places where you have stayed? Many thanks.

I have stayed here and will again. locationparis9.canalblog.com Its in the 9th. However, if by wanting "something a bit nice" you really mean you want luxury and style, my recommendation will not suit you.

We stayed at a lovely studio apartment for a week in September. It was on Quai aux Fleurs on Ile de la Cite with a "million dollar view" of the Seine. The apartment is small but nicely furnished with a small kitchen area (including washer/dryer). It is on the fourth floor but there is an elevator. The owner, Nina, and her manager, Claire, were most helpful both before and during our stay. It was through AirBnB - https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/251574. It is within easy walking distance on the Metro and many sights. We highly recommend this apartment.

Bonnie, wow, you're not kidding, that is definitely a million dollar view!

I've used AirBnB in Vancouver and found them to be a very reliable company, safe to use, and their photos on the properties for rent truly representative of what you get when renting.

AirBnB.com has a remarkable number of worlds all over the world. And they're going to be a force to be reckoned with in the future, as commercial hotel prices have increased greatly.

We stayed at a property in Halifax that was incredible. My only gripe is paying when the reservation is made, which is often many months before arrival.
