Airbnb Europe vs. Airbnb in the states.

Hi everyone,
I’m wondering if there’s any advantage to booking a trip in Europe via airbnb.eu versus the site we use in the states? Does anyone have any experience with this because when I look at a few properties I see that it’s a little cheaper in euros.

Any advice is appreciated!

I always use the AirBnB site that I use here in the US to also book lodging all over Europe. I didn't know that there was any other way for us to book lodging on AirBnB.

I also use the Airbnb site I use in the U.S.

I tried to log into that site to do a "test" search to see if I could see anything different. My computer just sends me to a Markmonitor that says it is a registered name. I can't get past it. I tried searching for the web site on google and it just take me back to airbnb.com. Maybe someone else will have some luck

PS I would be careful about booking anything on a site I can't fully vet. Fraud is rampant.

edit: Connie is correct. airbnb.eu is a domain that isn't hosting anything. You can't be seeing any airbnb prices there.

For legal reasons due to a requirement of European laws, when you choose a European language in Airbnb, even Irish English instead of USA English (at the top right of the page) you can see in the list of accommodations the type of owner: Individual host or Professional host.

This can be important if you want to favor one over the other.
