My wife tells me that she purchased a travel ticket on the Air France site and made a simple typo on our phone #. It could not be corrected, and she sure wasn't going to start over. I think she attached a message to the purchase, or maybe sent one independently later. In any case, this sounds a bit odd that one cannot correct a typo. Anyone have that experience with them or others?
I personally wouldn't sweat over this...Your boarding pass info needs to MATCH EXACTLY with your ID/Passport info, but they aren't checking your phone numbers. For instance, if I were staying with my mother I might put HER phone number down - they want a number where they can reach you if your flight plans change.
Perhaps in the future, if you make another reservation with them, you can change the number. But to confirm this, you might want to speak with someone at Air France.
I think if you call Air France and explain what happened they could correct the phone number for you.
I would call as Robin suggests and have them add a contact and your correct number and an email address. Have them email you a copy of the res/ticket so you can check the rest of the info. Enjoy the trip!
