After Travel route advice: France, Switzerland, Italy

Hi all, after some travel route advice.
This is part if a longer trip, but I'm trying to figure out which path to take that makes logical sense time wise. The places I am visiting are Nice, Lauterbrunnen, Venice, Menaggio, Manarola, Florence and Rome. Starting in Nice and ending in Rome.

Am I best to fly from Nice to Geneva, then train to Interlaken and onto Lauterbrunnen. Then train to Interlaken, Speiz, Brig and arrive in Venice, then train to Como via Milan then ferry to Menaggio. Then ferry to como, train to Milan then to la Spezia, regional train to Manarola, then train to La SPezia onto Florence. Then Florenece to Rome.

Or would it make more sense to fly from Nice to another Swiss city then get a train?

And would it make more sense to go lnterlaken to Lugano, then ferry to Menaggio. Then Menaggio to Venice and Venice to La Spezia??

Thanks in advance. My plan was straightforward, but adding Switzerland has confused my plan a bit and given me a few options.

Whatever fits in best with your wider plan ...
A) Nice => fly to Zurich for Lauterbrunnen => Como => Venice => CT => Florence => Rome
B) Lauterbrunnen => Como => Venice => CT => Florence => Rome => fly to Nice
C) Lauterbrunnen => Como => Venice => Florence => Rome => CT => Nice (all by train)

Agreed that Lake Como should come before Venice. Some trains from Venice to the Cinque Terre do route back via Milan, but those via Florence may be faster. At which point, you could visit Florence next, then Cinque Terre, then the coastal train direct to Rome. It works either way.

Lauterbrunnen => Como => Venice => Florence => CT=> Rome

Thanks for the comments!!

The reason I was thinking Lauterbrunnen to Venice was because the quickest train to Como I could find was more than 6 hours, and I found a six hour train with two changes Lauterbrunnen to Venice.
