Website says only 1 carry on weighing 13lbs. Just want to verify that this means no personal item in addition to the one carry-on for the overhead compartment.
We just flew home from Dublin on Aer Lingus a few weeks ago and it was just as the last poster said from the AL web site: one <20lb carry-on plus a personal item.
I would be inclined to believe what is on their web site instead of someone here offering contrary advice.
Aer Lingus, in line with most European carriers, allow 1 carry on bag.
This means 1 carry on only. No personal item, no exceptions. Hope this helps.
Thank you i thought so! what a bummer!
We used Aer Lingus LHR to DUB on April 2 and SNN to LHR on April 20. At that time, carry-on weight was about 20 pounds (it's stated in KG, so actually a bit more) and we were also allowed a small personal item (like a purse or messanger bag).
Well that is good news!
From the Aer Lingus website: Aer Lingus flights (Shorthaul and Longhaul) > Baggage is restricted to one piece per passenger. Baggage must weigh under 10 kgs/22lbs and be small enough to fit in overhead bins or under your seat. > Additional small items (camera, personal stereo, overcoat, handbag or laptop) are allowed. http://www.aerlingus.com/travelinformation/knowbeforeyoufly/baggageinformation/
