I will be traveling to Ireland and need to use a flat iron. While I found a cheap one that works on dual voltage, I am confused about what adapter I will need. Amazon had some very cheap but none said they worked in Ireland just he UK...is it the same plug configuration?

chris, Yes, the Plug Adapters used in Ireland are the same as the U.K. Here's a photo of an ungrounded model: www.magellans.com/store/Adaptors___Converters___Plug_AdaptorsEA351C I'd suggest taking at least two Adapters, as it's good to have a "spare". Happy travels!
