I am planning on bringing my galaxy tab to Italy do I need special electrical adapter?

Everything I find online for Galaxy Tab chargers say that the input is 100-240VAC, which means it should work in Italy with just a Euro plug mechanical 2 pin to 2 slot adapter, but check your charger (brick). The round pins on the adapter should be 0.156" diameter. 0.188" diameter will be to big for Italy. The pins should be the same diameter as a 5/32" drill. BTW, if it said only 120V 50 Hz, you would need a voltage converter.

patty, Could you confirm what information is printed on the Charger for your Galaxy tab? Look for the words "Input Voltage".
