Accommodations for 5 in Dingle, Dublin and London?

Trying to determine the most economical accomodations for family of 5 (parents and 3 teens) in these locations: Dingle (2 nights), Dublin (2 nights) and London (3 nights). Any suggestions? Have heard you can rent an apt. with a 3 night minimum, so will try to do that in London and would like a rec for a rental agency there. Thanks!

I once traveled with my sister's family, which consisted of the parents and three older kids. In almost every B&B we stopped at, they had a family room. Sometimes the family room only slept four and they would bring in a rollaway. In one place (Killarney) they had a massive room that slept 6. And on another trip in Ireland when I was traveling with my grown son, we had a huge family room that slept four but also had a "living room" area with a couch. Check with B&Bs and see what configurations they have available. Since many are not "purpose built", they sometimes have unusual room arrangements that could work for you.

Hi Susan, I go to Dublin every July/Aug and I have found on the last two occasions that there were hotel offers that were cheaper than the apartments. So depending on when you are travelling be sure to compare the two. I used Stay Dublin in the past and was very happy with their apartments. Also a general comment, just because you have to make minimum booking of three nights, it does not mean that you have to stay three nights - if such an offer is cheaper than two nights else where, then I just book it and depart early. Jim.

Two places to try in Londonnwould be Vancouver Studios and B+B Belgravia. Both are well-located and each has a family apartment suitable for five. You can also browse through the listings on Tripadvisor under Vacation Rentals for London.
